28 Dec 2015 Annual Planning
I too often meet with clients that want to achieve certain goals in their business but are frustrated because they are not reaching them. When I ask to see their current planning strategy, they don’t have one! ALERT DOCTORS: If you are not taking the time to create a strategic plan on how you are going to attain your goals, communicate and involve your team, you will not be successful in accomplishing them.
It is not only a timely task, but an absolutely critical task for you to address, and this is the most appropriate stage in the year to do so! This is the point in the year when you must take the time to create and execute your 2015 Annual Planning, both professionally and personally.
Do you have a checklist that walks you through this important process?
At Blackslate Management Consulting and Private Accountant Firm, we support our clients in creating thriving, balanced practices that provide exceptional patient care. We guide our clients through their 2015 Annual Planning process, looking at all the facets of the business. On average, you can get this done in a 3 hour time frame.
Just a few of the items I recommend to review:
- Creating Business and Personal Goals
- Laying out a written step by step plan to achieve those goals
- Create a written marketing plan
- Identify obstacles that can get in your way of achieving those goals
This is the single most important thing you can do for your practice! Whether it’s to modify your office systems to improve from your 2014 results or to get ready to take your practice to the next level, NOW is the time to prepare, plan and execute these moves to ensure that you can achieve those goals!
